I just love the international trade show Silmo and to stroll around the booths looking for spectacular eyewear. This year I realized that I have become very very picky, trying to find out how the trends will develop in the years to come. Talking to the different brands and designers, it seems to be a fact that all the crazy ”let´s go bananas” that I love so much, are hard to sell to an end consumer. It is a struggle to balance creativity and new ideas with what sells. So thats going to be my mission – to keep on finding these amazing brands and designs and to tell the world about them!
