At Silmo Sydney last week I discovered Fritz Frames, a company on the Gold Coast manufacturing beautiful frames made out of thin layers of wood. They even do inlays with feathers. They finish is really beautiful and I am in love with the black signature cat-eye.

Designed in Melbourne Australia, Niloca eyewear are made in Australia, France and Japan. The frames carry a strong European design heritage, with an emphasis on skilled craftsmanship. The Australian Niloca Eyewear workshop is one of the oldest continuously owned and operated workshops in the world. Founded in 1963 the workshop is still run by the original owner today, preserving an important part of Australian manufacturing history.
